Meet Lisa
Owner & Lead Swim Instructor
Hi, I’m Lisa Lozada, the owner and lead instructor at The SwimGym of SWFL. I’m a Southwest Florida native, a mom, and a lifelong lover of movement and the water.
My background includes synchronized swimming, fitness, and working one-on-one with children and adults. I created The SwimGym to provide a more personal approach to swim instruction—one that respects each student’s emotions, builds trust, and develops real skills without rushing the process.
I believe confidence in the water is built through consistency, connection, and giving students the space to work through hard feelings safely. Every lesson is adapted to the individual, whether we’re introducing an infant to the water, developing lifesaving self-rescue skills, or helping an experienced swimmer become stronger and more capable.
My goal is for every student to leave the pool safer, stronger, and genuinely proud of what they can do.
Let's dive in to meet your goals together!
Meet AnnaBeth
Assistant Swim Instructor
AnnaBeth brings a wonderful combination of strength, patience, and positive energy to SwimGym. She has experience working with children, is CPR certified, and is passionate about helping swimmers of all ages build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun in the water.
Originally from Wyoming, AnnaBeth was one of the state’s first girls’ wrestling state champions—an accomplishment that reflects her determination, discipline, and willingness to take on a challenge.
AnnaBeth began at SwimGym by assisting with lessons while training alongside Lisa. Her encouraging personality and ability to connect with children make her a valuable part of the SwimGym family.
